Kantara is a newly released Kannada Movie released on 30 September 2022. The film was directed and written by Rishab Shetty, who also directed “Kirik Party” and “Ricky” in 2016. The producer of the film is Vijay Kiragandur, who earlier produced a world-famous film “K.G.F: Chapter 2” in 2022. The main character of the Kantara film is Rishab Shetty as Kaadubettu Shiva. The budget of this film is ₹16 crores (US$1.95 million) and the box office of this film is estimated at ₹400.90 crores (US$49 million). The film is a huge economical success.
There is a total of six songs in the film Kantara. The first song from this film is “Singara Siriye” sung by Vijay Prakash and Ananya Bhat. The second song from this film is “Rebel Song” sung by Mime Ramdas and Rishab Shetty. The third song from this film is “Karma Song“ sung by Venkatesh DC. The fourth song from this film is “Varaha Roopam Daiva Va Rishtam” sung by Sai Vignesh. The fifth song from this film is “Vaa Poruluya” sung by B. Ajaneesh Loknath, Mime Ramdas and the last sixth song from this film is “Vaa Poruluya” (Tulu version) sung by B. Ajaneesh Loknath, Mime Ramdas.
The film has been dubbed into many other Indian languages like Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and many others. The film got released in 30 September all over the world including the Middle East. This movie became the first Kannada movie to be released in Vietnam. The digital rights of this film are sold to Amazon Prime and will be started streaming from 24th November 2022 and the Sattelite rights of the film are sold to Star Suvarna.
